SJ Public Relations launched a national public relations campaign to drive awareness of Anheuser-Busch’s sponsorship of The National Hispanic Scholarship Fund (NHSF).
Anheuser-Busch Co. tapped SJ Public Relations to develop a national community relations program to drive awareness and support of the brand’s sponsorship of and contributions to the National Hispanic Scholarship Fund (NHSF) as well as secured other corporate financial support for the organization.
SJPR identified Midwest-based organizations that could potentially partner with Anheuser-Busch to accomplish this goal. In addition, SJPR hosted a VIP reception for business leaders who shared Anheuser- Busch’s devotion to empowering Hispanics through education, increasing the organization’s visibility in the corporate landscape. Its piloted Chicago Chapter spurred program growth in four additional markets. The agency also hosted an exclusive golf tournament fundraiser which included a press conference for Hispanic media. Raising more than $72,000, SJPR’s event broke an NHSF record and was featured in multiple Hispanic publications, earning more than 5 million media impressions.
